Job summary

Grundfos is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for Municipal Wastewater to drive regional growth for Newterra aeration products. The role is remote and supports municipal utilities, engineers and contractors across the United States.

You’ll coach a Manufacturer's Representative network, manage sales cycles from prospecting to PO, and provide technical guidance on aeration solutions for SBR, oxidation ditch and lagoon systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Environmental Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in municipal wastewater or related industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of municipal wastewater treatment processes.
• Experience managing Manufacturer's Representative networks.
• Knowledge of municipal wastewater regulations and permitting processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and develop Manufacturer's Representatives to achieve annual sales and quotas.
• Drive new business through prospecting, customer visits, and relationship management with municipal utilities, consulting engineers, and contractors.
• Lead sales opportunities from early project development through specification, bidding, negotiation, and purchase orders.
• Provide technical and consultative guidance on mechanical aeration systems for SBR, oxidation ditch, and lagoon applications.
• Develop regional sales plans, forecast pipeline performance, identify market trends, and pursue new opportunities.
• Serve as the primary liaison between customers, representatives, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
