Job summary

Newterra seeks a Regional Sales Manager, Municipal Wastewater to lead regional growth for municipal aeration products. You will manage Manufacturer's Representatives, build relationships with utilities, engineers, and contractors, and drive opportunities from early development to purchase orders.

The role follows a remote work model in the United States, with travel up to 30% per year and strong emphasis on technical leadership and market expansion in municipal wastewater treatment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Environmental Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in municipal water/wastewater sector
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical aeration, SBR, oxidation ditch, lagoon systems

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and develop Manufacturer's Representatives to meet annual sales quotas
• Drive new business through prospecting, visits, and relationship management with municipal utilities, engineers, contractors
• Lead opportunities from development through bidding and purchase orders
• Provide technical guidance on Newterra's aeration systems for SBR, oxidation ditch, lagoon
• Develop regional sales plans and forecast pipeline
