Regional Sales Manager - Industrial Plastics Division

Position Overview:

Eaton’s FFD Fluid Filtration Division is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Industrial Plastics Division. This role reports to the North America Sales Manager for Industrial Plastics and supports customers in the Northern US and Canada, focusing on the Northeast US and Eastern Canada. It is a remote position requiring 50% travel within the territory.

Eaton is a leader in liquid filtration, serving industries such as pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, water, petrochemicals, marine, automotive, agriculture, construction, and power generation.

Salary: $84,375 - $123,750 annually, with eligibility for a variable incentive. Salaries depend on skills, experience, and market factors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve division goals.
  • Create sales presentations, quote projects, and negotiate pricing.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and channel partners.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service to address inquiries, orders, and complaints.
  • Market analysis to adapt to pricing and delivery changes, and communicate findings.
  • Organize training and promotional events for channel partners.
  • Maintain expertise in applications and industry trends; pursue ongoing training.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to identify new market or product opportunities.
  • Document activities and provide sales forecasts.
  • Ensure effective communication within the team and across departments.
  • Represent Eaton at industry trade events.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Industrial Plastics market and products.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • 3+ years of technical sales experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
  • Residence within Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut, or Rhode Island.

Preferred:

  • Master’s or MBA degree.
  • 5+ years of sales/marketing experience in plastics.
  • Experience with extrusion processes, managing reps/distributors, and using SalesForce.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within the territory.
