Regional Sales Manager - Industrial Plastics Division

This role reports directly to the Industrial Plastics Division North America Sales Manager and supports customers in the Northern US and Canada, focusing on the Northeast US and Eastern Canada. It is a remote position requiring 50% travel across the territory.

Eaton is a leader in liquid filtration, serving industries such as pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, water treatment, petrochemicals, marine, automotive, agriculture, construction, and power generation.

The annual salary range is $84,375 - $123,750, with eligibility for a variable incentive program. Salaries depend on skills, experience, and market factors.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet performance goals.
  • Create and deliver sales presentations, quote projects, and negotiate pricing.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and channel partners.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service to handle inquiries, orders, and complaints efficiently.
  • Conduct market analysis to inform pricing and delivery strategies.
  • Organize training and promotional events for channel partners to increase brand and technical awareness.
  • Maintain expertise on applications and market trends to promote Eaton products effectively.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to identify new market or product opportunities.
  • Document activities, prospects, and opportunities in CRM; provide sales forecasts.
  • Ensure effective communication within the sales team and with other departments.
  • Represent Eaton at trade associations and industry events.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the industrial plastics market and products.
Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • At least 3 years of technical sales experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
  • Residency within Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut, or Rhode Island.
Preferred:
  • Master’s or MBA degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales/marketing experience in plastics.
  • Understanding of extrusion processes.
  • Experience managing reps/distributors.
  • Proficiency with SalesForce.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within the territory.
