Job summary

ZEISS Group seeks a Business Sales Manager to lead a professional team of sales and application experts within a defined region. You will develop and execute regional sales strategies to grow market share and deliver superior customer experience.

This role requires a 4-year technical degree, 5+ years of sales management, and up to 50% travel. The annual sales target is around $25M with eligible performance bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in a technical discipline (mechanical, electrical or physics preferred).
• Professional training in Sales Management.
• 10 years related industry experience in engineering/quality/metrology/inspection.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Company and its interests.
• Lead a high-performance team; grow regional business with cross-functional support.
• Develop sales strategies for penetration (distribution, direct or combo).
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets (annual target around $25M).
• Communicate strategy, priorities and progress to stakeholders.
• Mentor and coach employees; provide performance objectives.
• Provide weekly/monthly/quarterly sales forecasting.
• Visit key customers and distributors to strengthen relationships.
• Monitor and manage departmental expenses; budget awareness.
