Job Description

Danfoss, a global leader in HVAC/R, Industrial Automation, and Motion Controls, has an immediate opening for a Regional Sales Manager in its Food Retail sales vertical. This individual will grow sales and market share across existing accounts and generate new business with new accounts. They will have end-to-end responsibility for sales pursuits, working across all departments, including senior leadership at our existing and new customers. Critical skills include leveraging resources across the organization to secure opportunity wins.

This is a remote position, preferably on the East Coast.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive account plan for growth in the Food Retail vertical
• Cultivate and expand existing key accounts; identify new business opportunities with non-Danfoss accounts in your region
• Strengthen relationships at C-suite level with existing and new key accounts
• Participate in monthly business dialogue meetings, communicating internally on business requirements for growth
• Develop and maintain the Danfoss value proposition
• Manage and maintain a quality opportunity pipeline in Salesforce

Background & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business/Sales or equivalent experience
• Over five years of sales experience
• Strong business acumen and C-Level management experience
• Understanding of the Food Retail, Energy Management, and HVAC/R industries
• Ability to work with others in a matrixed organization
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Good command of English
• Ability to travel up to 60%

Salary Range

The salary range is $115,000-$130,000, depending on experience, location, and performance.
