We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager for our Great Lakes territories (Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and West Virginia)!

Summary: The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales in the Food and Beverage sector to ensure company goals are met. This role involves leading Territory Sales in a defined region and delivering regional sales budgets by engaging customers and specifications influencers.

Duties include:

  • Creating, planning, and implementing a Territory strategy.
  • Assessing market potential and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Maintaining key customer relationships and expanding the customer base.
  • Leveraging customer insights for business opportunities.
  • Building and managing internal relationships to assist in strategies and tactics.
  • Leading the divisional sales team with strategic vision.
  • Tracking and communicating sales forecasts and results.
  • Developing effective relationships with key customers.
  • Managing external sales activities including cold calling and closing business.
  • Managing internal sales including estimate preparation and lead management.
  • Tracking KPIs in the Salesforce CRM system.
  • Meeting or exceeding sales objectives and quotas.
  • Conducting professional seminars and presentations.

Additional Compliance Responsibilities:

  • Follow the Group Code of Conduct and Compliance Manual.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (highly preferred) in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience, preferably in building/construction materials.
  • Experience with insulated metal panels or building envelope construction is a plus.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing sales strategies.
  • Understanding of the construction and specification process.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Must be able to travel as required.
  • Must live in or around the designated territories.

Computer Skills:

  • Salesforce.com experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally.
  • Ability to perform frequently in a workshop environment.
