Regional Sales Manager - Central California & Nevada (Ideal locations: Las Vegas, NV, Reno, NV, Fresno, CA, and Bakersfield, CA)

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated, team player to work as a Regional Sales Manager who will be responsible for closing new Packsize accounts within a defined area. This is a high speed, technical sales position with high visibility and growth potential. This position will report to a Regional Director of Sales and will be responsible for all sales activities throughout the customer’s lifecycle.

What You'll Do

  1. Spend time with the potential customers (40 hours per month of face-to-face and/or virtual meetings with current and prospective customers is required)
  2. Oversee proposals, negotiate terms/conditions, and implement contractual agreements with accountability for delivering financial results
  3. Conduct meetings to understand prospective customers' current packaging process
  4. Proactively reach out to new prospects to set up initial meetings and/or presentations
  5. Utilizing your Packsize training you will work with prospective customers to design and implement optimum process flows that reduce cost, improve efficiency and sustainability
  6. Work alongside Packsize software and Sales Engineers to develop right size packaging process flows
  7. Close a determined amount of new business per year, primarily defined in revenue generated
  8. Work directly with our existing business sales team to ensure expectations are met and the customer is delighted

What you'll Bring

  1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (7+ years in sales)
  2. 2-5 years successful track record in a complex selling environment to C-Level executives
  3. Significant experience in a multifaceted, strategic sales process and a proven ability to develop and maintain relationships
  4. Ability to manage a full funnel and pipeline selling process as it relates to territory and account opportunities
  5. Excellent communication and presentation skills
  6. Positive attitude and a commitment to professionalism, integrity and sound judgment
  7. Demonstrated ability to lead change, handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  8. Independent thinker with a team orientation to challenges.
  9. Responsible for running the territory as a business by being well disciplined in a home office environment
  10. Able to work with a remote manager and produce results

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

Ability to travel up to 60%.

Ability to work from a home office.

Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Salary and Benefits

*The Base Salary for this role is $120,000/year USD + Bonus; however, Packsize considers several factors when determining compensation when extending a job offer, including but not limited to, the role being offered, the associated responsibilities, the candidate's prior work experience, education/training, and any special skills.
