Regional Sales Manager – Pacific Northwest
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for driving sales growth and managing all sales activities within their assigned territory. This role focuses on developing and executing strategic sales plans, cultivating strong relationships with distributor representatives, designers, and specifiers, and expanding the company's presence in the Agricultural, Landscape, and Ag Water markets.
The RSM will identify new business opportunities, support key accounts, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction while working cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver high-quality, value-driven solutions.
Territory & Location Requirement
Candidates must reside in one of the following areas:
- Eastern Washington
- Northern Idaho
- Northeast Oregon
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage sales activities throughout the Pacific Northwest United States and Canada
- Partner with sales leadership to develop and execute growth strategies for key accounts aligned with company's market objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, architects, engineering firms, OEMs, and key end users
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities, market segments, and distribution channels to increase market share
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales forecasts; establish sales targets for distributors and track proposal progress
- Deliver product training and presentations to customers and partners; stay current on competitor offerings and industry trends
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries to ensure high levels of satisfactionContinuously improve sales processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness
- Collaborate closely with inside sales, engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless customer support
- Provide regular reporting, including monthly sales forecasts and territory performance updates
Education & Experience
- 2+ years of sales experience in filtration, water systems, or related industries
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong problem-solving skills, with patience and professionalism in resolving customer and equipment issues
- Experience with water systems involving pumps and valves preferred
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team
- Customer-focused mindset with a professional, results-oriented approach
