Job summary

BlackBerry in North America seeks a Regional Sales Manager to drive QNX software solutions across the embedded market in the Northeast US and beyond. You will manage a cross-functional team, expand new opportunities, and build lasting customer relationships while meeting aggressive quotas in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Remote home-office flexibility, up to 50% travel, and a base salary range of $108,000 to $151,875 with SIP incentive pay accompany a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or similar fields in the technology space.
  • A proven track record of consistent sales quota achievement & over‑achievement.

Responsibilities

  • Sell QNX software solutions to a specified region within North America focusing on the general embedded market, which includes, Industrial, Medical, Consumer, Defense and both Federal and Commercial Aerospace, new and existing customers.
  • Prospect and develop new opportunities and new program wins.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, by exceeding expectations and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Have experience managing and growing business within existing customers.
  • Work with a cross functional sales team, comprised of a Field Application Engineer, Inside Sales Representative and Business Development to identify customer requirements, then deliver product and services solutions aligned with customer requirements.
  • Lead the sales cycle from discovery through revenue recognition.
  • Leverage all QNX Software System cross functional departments to assist with sales growth strategy.
  • Provide regular forecasting and reporting including managing the accuracy of the forecast pipeline, and lead management.
  • Most importantly your mission is to exceed sales goals and have fun.

As part of our successful North American Sales team, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for selling QNX products, services and solutions to specific accounts in the general embedded markets across NA, ensuring target sales achievement and total customer satisfaction. In this role, you will:

  • Sell QNX software solutions to a specified region within North America focusing on the general embedded market, which includes, Industrial, Medical, Consumer, Defense and both Federal and Commercial Aerospace, new and existing customers.
  • Available regions include:
    • Northeast US
  • Prospect and develop new opportunities and new program wins.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, by exceeding expectations and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Have experience managing and growing business within existing customers.

Requirements for this role are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or similar fields in the technology space, MBA is a plus, or equivalent relevant experience.

Compensation Hiring Base Salary Range:

$108,000.00 - $151,875.00

The actual compensation offered will be determined at the time of hire and is contingent upon multiple factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, demonstrated skills, and results of assessments conducted during the hiring process.

The BlackBerry Sales Incentive Pay (SIP) program is a bonus incentive program designed to reward eligible employees for their contributions towards BlackBerry’s sales success. SIP payments are based on an employee’s sales performance against quarterly or full-year quotas for the fiscal year.
