Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced, driven, and relationship-focused Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to lead sales growth in the Northeast territory through established distribution channels. The ideal candidate is a strategic hunter with a strong track record of expanding territory revenue, building long-term distributor relationships, and driving brand loyalty in the pumps and water systems industry.

Lead Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to achieve sales targets and expand market share within the Northeast region.
• Manage and grow relationships with key distribution partners, ensuring alignment with company goals and initiatives.
• Identify new business opportunities and actively pursue new accounts and partnerships within the territory.
• Deliver product training, support, and joint sales efforts with distributor partners to drive sell-through.
• Analyze territory performance, market trends, and competitor activities to refine sales approach and report to leadership.
• Attend industry trade shows, events, and distributor meetings to promote products and strengthen presence.
• Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, engineering, and customer support to deliver a seamless customer experience.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and forecast data within CRM systems.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of sales experience in pumps, water systems, or a closely related industrial vertical.
• Proven success selling through distribution channels, with consistent territory growth achievements.
• Strong business development and relationship management skills; ability to work independently and strategically.
• Hunter mentality with a proactive, goal-driven mindset.
• Experience managing a multi-state sales territory, ideally within the Northeast U.S.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel regionally up to 75%.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred – or equivalent professional experience.
