Job Description

At Harris Education Solutions, our dynamic sales and marketing team is seeking a new Regional Sales Representative to help expand our business and customer base. As a Regional Sales Manager in EdTech, you'll drive revenue growth by leading sales efforts within specific regions, developing go-to-market plans, and building excellent client relationships to meet and exceed sales targets. The ideal candidate is curious, reliable, self-motivated, with a strong work ethic, integrity, and a passion for learning. This is a fully remote position with 10%-15% travel. The salary range is $70,000 to $80,000 annually, plus sales commissions.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct market research to assess potential.
  2. Use industry relationships and business acumen to identify prospects and build a target list.
  3. Develop prospecting plans, including cold calling and other methods.
  4. Track leads and opportunities using Salesforce CRM; follow up to advance sales stages.
  5. Create quotations and proposals, ensuring timely RFP responses.
  6. Stay informed on industry trends and product knowledge.
  7. Understand competitors and collaborate with marketing to develop effective campaigns.
  8. Manage sales metrics and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
  9. Forecast sales bookings accurately.
  10. Participate in trade shows and industry events to expand networks and find opportunities.
  11. Build and nurture relationships within customer accounts.
  12. Engage professionally with teams, partners, and clients during negotiations.
Qualifications
  1. 3-5 years of success in EdTech SaaS sales.
  2. Experience in North American education sectors.
  3. Experience selling SaaS to K-12 schools and districts preferred.
  4. Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  5. Knowledge of solution selling and consultative sales methodologies.
  6. Experience with complex software sales cycles (3-6 months).
  7. Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  8. Strong relationship management skills.
  9. Proficiency in Salesforce CRM.
  10. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
