Job Description
At Harris Education Solutions, our dynamic sales and marketing team is seeking a new Regional Sales Representative to help expand our business and customer base. As a Regional Sales Manager in EdTech, you'll drive revenue growth by leading sales efforts within specific regions, developing go-to-market plans, and building excellent client relationships to meet and exceed sales targets. The ideal candidate is curious, reliable, self-motivated, with a strong work ethic, integrity, and a passion for learning. This is a fully remote position with 10%-15% travel. The salary range is $70,000 to $80,000 annually, plus sales commissions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to assess potential.
- Use industry relationships and business acumen to identify prospects and build a target list.
- Develop prospecting plans, including cold calling and other methods.
- Track leads and opportunities using Salesforce CRM; follow up to advance sales stages.
- Create quotations and proposals, ensuring timely RFP responses.
- Stay informed on industry trends and product knowledge.
- Understand competitors and collaborate with marketing to develop effective campaigns.
- Manage sales metrics and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Forecast sales bookings accurately.
- Participate in trade shows and industry events to expand networks and find opportunities.
- Build and nurture relationships within customer accounts.
- Engage professionally with teams, partners, and clients during negotiations.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of success in EdTech SaaS sales.
- Experience in North American education sectors.
- Experience selling SaaS to K-12 schools and districts preferred.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Knowledge of solution selling and consultative sales methodologies.
- Experience with complex software sales cycles (3-6 months).
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
