With over 900 patents and a strong commitment to innovation, we deliver solutions that protect people, buildings, and electrical systems across industries such as energy, telecommunications, transportation, and critical infrastructure. Our mission is simple: "DEHN protects."

At DEHN, our culture is built on three core principles: Serve the Customer First, Own the Outcome, and Win as One Team. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, collaborates effectively across functions, and is passionate about supporting the business and its customers.

The Regional Sales Manager - Current Technology is responsible for delivering profitable sales growth across an assigned territory by collaborating with manufacturing representative partners, expanding relationships with electrical distributors and contractors, and increasing product specification with engineering firms. This role owns the regional sales plan, pipeline, forecast, and execution cadence. It requires a consultative, technically credible leader who can translate market opportunities into clear partner goals, customer activity, specifications, projects, and revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a regional sales plan aligned with Current Technology revenue, margin, market share, and strategic growth objectives.
  • Set clear annual, quarterly, and monthly goals with manufacturing representative partners, including revenue, pipeline, specification, customer engagement, and new business objectives.
  • Establish a consistent operating cadence with representative agencies to review performance, inspect pipeline quality, address gaps, assign actions, and ensure commitments are executed.
  • Coach and enable manufacturing representative partners through joint account planning, field visits, opportunity reviews, product training, and targeted growth initiatives.
  • Hold partners accountable for pipeline visibility, forecast accuracy, follow-up, and progress against agreed goals while maintaining strong, productive relationships.
  • Deliver technically credible presentations, continuing education sessions, and product demonstrations to specifying engineering firms, consultants, owners, contractors, distributors, and other technical stakeholders.
  • Build relationships with specifying engineers and influence project specifications by communicating Current Technology product capabilities, application requirements, standards, and value.
  • Identify, qualify, and advance project opportunities from early specification through quotation, award, installation, and post-sale support.
  • Develop new business while expanding revenue within existing accounts, representative territories, and priority market segments.
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast in CRM, document customer and partner activity, and provide timely visibility into risks, opportunities, and required support.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership, product management, marketing, engineering, customer service, and operations to resolve customer needs and improve commercial execution.
  • Monitor competitive activity, market developments, and customer requirements and convert those insights into regional actions and growth opportunities.
  • Represent DEHN and Current Technology at customer meetings, industry events, trade shows, and partner meetings.
  • Travel regularly throughout the assigned region to support representative partners, customers, projects, and specifying engineering firms.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred.
  • Five or more years of successful technical, channel, project, or territory sales experience in electrical products, power quality, surge protection, construction, or a related industry.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing independent manufacturing representative agencies or channel partners.
  • Ability to set measurable partner goals, establish accountability, and drive consistent execution without direct reporting authority.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn and communicate electrical concepts, product applications, standards, and system-level solutions.
  • Proven ability to present effectively to specifying engineers, consultants, contractors, distributors, and business leaders.
  • Experience building project pipelines, managing forecasts, and using CRM to track activity, opportunities, and results.
  • Excellent communication, listening, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, partner relationships, and projects simultaneously.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly (50% of schedule) within the assigned region.
A Successful Candidate Will Be ...
