Overview
The Regional Sales Manager directs their assigned Chadwell Supply sales personnel and manages functions essential to sales force productivity, revenue, and profit growth in their assigned markets. Responsibilities include planning, reporting, field sales support, troubleshooting, customer retention, market expansion strategies, quota setting and management, sales process optimization, sales training, program creation, administration, and recruiting sales talent.
What you will need
- At least 5 years of sales experience in comparable industries, with 2 years in a senior management role.
How you will make an impact
- Develop plans and strategies to develop business and achieve sales and gross profit goals in your assigned markets.
- Manage sales team personnel and collaborate with operations and other departments to deliver profitable revenue and market growth.
- Engage directly with customers at all levels, from on-site to executive management, focusing on customer service and problem resolution.
- Continuously evaluate sales performance at individual, market, and regional levels, providing feedback and strategic support to maximize productivity and success.
- Optimize deployment of sales personnel, making recommendations for role, coverage, or team configuration changes to maximize sales productivity.
- Monitor competitor activity and provide feedback for ongoing competitive assessments and strategies.
- Travel for in-person meetings with customers, prospects, and vendors to generate large sales and profit potential.
- Maintain regular communication with the account management team and corporate payables during the collection process.
- Participate in large-scale renovation proposals, contributing strategies and expertise in planning, execution, and collection.
- Contribute to and execute regional and local sales plans to increase revenue, drive market penetration, and improve key customer relationships, allocating resources accordingly.
- Handle hiring, firing, and disciplinary actions within the region, consulting with the Regional VP before major decisions.
