Job summary

Wella Company is seeking a Sr. Sales Manager to lead a regional field sales team delivering growth across California and neighboring states. The role drives sales for Wella Professionals, Nioxin, Sebastian, Clairol, Color Charm, OPI and GHD, with travel and education collaboration at the core.

The position reports to the Director of Sales, manages eight direct reports, and emphasizes coaching, data-driven planning, and strategic industry relationships to achieve targets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in Outside/Field Sales.
• 3-5+ years of People Leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Demonstrates advanced computer skills – Microsoft Office - PowerPoint, Excel, Word. PowerBI experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, thinking and problem solving, initiative and follow through.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, digitally savvy, and results oriented.

Responsibilities

• Deliver KPIs: set and deliver monthly/quarterly/annual targets cascading from leadership to meet/exceed business and sales targets.
• Team Management: identify capability and motivation of team members and tailor a plan for each individual.
• Coach team to develop sales mastery and implement protocol and standards.
• Operate with excellence: stay focused on priorities, track KPIs, lead area sales meetings, model performance.
• Deliver results via HPO execution and build capabilities.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders and industry decision makers (salon accounts, guest artists, schools).
• Participate in industry associations and represent Wella in forums and events.
• Data and report management: develop territory, team and customer analytics using reports and frontline tools; customize reports and proposals.
