Job summary

ABB invites a seasoned Sales Leader to drive the Traction Division's regional performance in the Americas and Market Strategy for Mobile e Power in America. You will lead the sales team, shape budgets, and negotiate plans, reporting to the Global Head of Sales Traction.

The role requires 30% travel across the US, Canada, Mexico, and South America, with remote work options in the United States. You will manage offers, pricing, risk vs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical or business discipline with 15+ years in direct sales and sales leadership.
• Experience as an international Sales Manager in a global company.
• Technical knowledge of Traction Products, Rail applications and projects.
• Experience in business development, account management and cross-selling.
• Strong contract negotiations, risk management, and commercial terms.
• Excellent English communication and customer-focused approach.
• Market knowledge for Rolling Stock or Mobile e Power.
• Willing to travel 30% domestically and internationally; valid US license and passport.
• Candidates must have work authorization to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Take topline responsibility for all Traction business lines.
• Own offers in the region; assess contracts, risk vs. opportunity, pricing and profitability.
• Assist the sales team and customers throughout the sales process.
• Identify customer needs and competitors' offerings through market studies; communicate value propositions.
• Market intelligence and early identification of upcoming opportunities.
• Produce sales reports to assist in production planning and performance reviews.
