Job summary

ABB is seeking a senior sales leader for the Traction Division in the Americas. The role reports to the Global Head of Sales Traction and involves managing the sales team remotely from the United States with 30% travel across the US, Canada, Mexico, and South America.

You will shape sales strategy, set budgets, and negotiate plans while ensuring profitable growth across Traction products and rail applications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in technical and/or business discipline with 15+ years in direct sales and sales management.
International Sales Manager experience in a Global Company.
Technical knowledge of Traction Products and Rail Applications.
Experience in business development, account management and cross-selling.
Understanding of contract negotiations, risk management, and commercial terms.
Excellent English communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Own topline for all Traction Business Lines in the Americas.
Lead offers regionally; manage contracts, pricing, and profitability.
Support sales team and customers through the sales process.
Identify customer needs and market opportunities; articulate value propositions.
Monitor market intelligence and opportunities; produce sales reports.
