The salary range for this full-time position is $70k+ commissions, depending on skills and experience.

THIS POSITION IS REMOTE, BUT LIMITED TO APPLICANTS CURRENTLY RESIDING IN THE COLUMBUS AREA. Travel to client sites in the region is required.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Regional Sales Executives are individual contributor field salespeople responsible for delivering new business bookings primarily from new customers in their territories. This position involves articulating the value of our short-run and quick turnaround digital flexible packaging solutions and managing the sales process to win new customer deals. Each Sales Executive will utilize our lead generation team to support sales growth within one of our manufacturing plant locations. A territory covers about 120 miles and may include some national accounts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage existing and build new customer relationships, leveraging technology, products, and capabilities to capture a larger share within existing accounts.
  • Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
  • Build relationships and identify customer needs for our products or services.
  • Maintain current customer relationships through visits, calls, quarterly reviews, and internal/external functions.
  • Participate in community events to network with customers.
  • Promptly enter all customer information and updates into Salesforce.
  • Estimate quotes using our custom build estimation application.
  • Collaborate with other divisions to participate in cross-selling opportunities and maximize sales potential.
  • Proactively seek, identify, and secure new business opportunities with new and existing customers, managing resources accordingly.
  • Develop and manage an active sales pipeline focused on increasing active customers and growing volume sales.
  • Establish strong, multi-level, win/win relationships with new and existing customers.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in partnership and problem-solving sessions, as well as product line trials with existing and new customers.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of successful sales experience, preferably in packaging, working with large, similar accounts.
  • Experience in new business development is required.
  • Results-oriented with strong hunting sales skills.
  • Business knowledge and superior analytical and financial skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Performance-driven with sales/customer knowledge, decision-making skills, negotiation skills, and confidence.
  • Ability to adapt and learn in a Google Suites environment, as ePac utilizes Google Suites instead of Windows.
