We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Regional Sales Director to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a strategic sales leader with a proven track record of success in driving complex software sales within large enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep experience managing multifaceted sales cycles, engaging C-level stakeholders, and closing high-value deals across diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive full-cycle enterprise sales within the assigned territory, from prospecting through deal closure.
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Navigate and manage complex sales cycles, often involving multiple stakeholders and technical evaluation processes.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with C-level executives, IT leaders, and other key decision-makers.
- Partner with internal teams including marketing, sales engineering, product management, and customer success to align strategies and deliver tailored solutions.
- Accurately forecast pipeline and revenue, and maintain up-to-date records in the CRM system.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt sales strategies as needed.
- Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and customer meetings as a thought leader and brand ambassador.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, with a demonstrated history of exceeding quota.
- Proven ability to manage and close large, complex deals in environments with extended sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
- Experience selling into IT, operations, or security departments is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of enterprise software solutions, ideally in areas such as automation, orchestration, IT operations, or related fields.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a global team.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; MBA or relevant certifications are a plus.
