Regional Sales Director – California

Cybersecurity | Early-Stage Start-up | Remote (CA-based)

Our client, a high-growth Series A cybersecurity start-up, is seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead greenfield expansion across California. This is a key role for a proven enterprise sales professional with experience in early-stage environments and a strong track record of driving net-new ARR.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and grow the California territory, building pipeline and closing complex enterprise deals
  • Drive full-cycle sales processes and consistently exceed quota
  • Act as a strategic partner to leadership, contributing to GTM strategy and regional growth
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with SEs, Marketing, and Product

Requirements:

  • 7+ years in enterprise cybersecurity sales; 3+ years in early-stage start-ups
  • Proven success in greenfield territory development and consistent overachievement
  • Strong network within the California security market (CISOs, SecOps, etc.)
  • Experience selling to mid-market and enterprise clients

Compensation:

  • Competitive OTE with uncapped commission and equity
