Ecowaste Solutions is seeking a Regional Safety Trainer to lead safety training across multiple markets. The role involves hands-on training for CDL drivers, laborers, and mechanics, using a hybrid approach of video-based and in-person instruction.

The ideal candidate has DOT-regulated environment experience, strong safety training skills, and the ability to travel up to 80%. You will ensure compliance with DOT/FMCSA/OSHA standards while building a safety-first culture across sites.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of safety training experience in a DOT-regulated environment.
• Experience developing and delivering training for hands-on, field-based workforces.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and improve safety training programs for CDL drivers, laborers, and mechanics across the region.
• Facilitate in-person training sessions at multiple sites with regional travel.
• Support and manage video-based training content as part of a hybrid model.
• Ensure training programs comply with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and company standards.
• Conduct new hire safety orientations before field work.
• Perform site visits and ride-alongs to observe practices and identify gaps.
• Investigate incidents and use findings to inform training content.
• Track training records and certifications for the region.
• Partner with site managers to promote a strong safety culture.
• Monitor regulatory updates and keep materials current.
