Job summary

S&S Activewear, a leading North American distributor of imprintable apparel, seeks a Sr. Safety Manager to provide regional leadership for health and safety across multiple distribution centers. This hybrid role reports to the Sr. Director of Safety and emphasizes proactive risk mitigation, audits, and incident investigations.

You will partner with site leaders, analyze safety data, travel 25–50%, and help embed safety into daily operations while driving a culture of learning and accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Safety, or a related field.
• Minimum 7+ years of progressive Environmental, Health & Safety leadership experience.
• Experience managing safety programs across multiple locations in distribution, warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, or similar complex operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional safety strategy to reduce Serious Injury and Fatality (SIF) risks.
• Administer programs to identify risk exposures and drive corrective actions.
• Partner with Regional Directors and site leaders to embed safety into operations.
• Lead complex incident investigations and learning reviews to prevent recurrence.
• Analyze safety data to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations.
• Travel 25% to 50% to sites for risk assessment and coaching.
• Promote a culture of learning, engagement, and accountability in safety.
• Support workers' comp and regulatory inspections while focusing on risk reduction.
• Lead and develop safety professionals across the region.
