Join to apply for the Regional Safety Manager role at Primoris Services Corporation

The Regional Safety Manager plays a crucial role in promoting and maintaining a safety-oriented culture within business units. This position supports the HSE Director in developing and implementing policies and programs tailored to regional projects. The successful candidate will ensure Site Safety Managers are well-trained, supported, and equipped with necessary resources. They should possess strong relationship-building skills with project teams and clients and be ready to travel as needed. Regular audits of policies and procedures are also part of this role.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Visit projects regularly to support Site Safety Managers and ensure safety programs are effectively communicated and adhered to.
  2. Conduct safety and health assessments at projects, communicate findings, and assist with corrective actions.
  3. Provide guidance on safety policies, procedures, and loss prevention techniques to ensure compliance.
  4. Report incidents promptly to the HSE Director and follow up until resolved.
  5. Manage incident reviews, communicate lessons learned, and support training efforts.
  6. Assist with documentation and reporting requirements.
  7. Establish occupational health services as needed for new projects.
  8. Support company policies on drug and alcohol testing and conduct related training.
  9. Coordinate with the HSE Director on claims and insurance matters.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s in Occupational Safety and Health.
  • Certified Safety Professional (BCSP) or equivalent.
  • At least 10 years of safety management experience, including 5 years in large construction firms.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and standards, with preferred expertise in electrical, crane, and structural safety.
  • OSHA 510 & OSHA 500 preferred.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and management skills.
  • Ability to motivate teams and organize multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ISNetworld, Procore, Achievit, and Intelex.
  • Deep understanding of Behavior Based Safety.
  • Strong attention to detail and professionalism.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish skills are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 75% of the time.
