Our team is looking to hire a regional safey manger located in the St. Louis, MO area.

Essential Functions

• Investigate accidents and injuries to determine root cause. Follow up with management on findings and recommendations.
• Analyze accident/injury performance at each location and address locations performing below expectations.
• Analyze individual driver safety and compliance performance and address as needed.
• Oversee training for designated employees on DOT, OSHA, and EPA as required by regulations including Hazardous Materials, Forklift, Fire Extinguisher, Lock out/Tag out, etc.
• Oversee training for company required training topics including all safety related training.
• Regularly inspect facilities and equipment and make recommendations where safety or security improvements are needed
• Assist with special projects as needed.
• Travel as needed to accomplish the duties listed above.

• Minimum 3 years Transportation Safety experience or equivalent.
• Must have or be willing and able to obtain a valid CDL Class A with Hazardous Material and Doubles/Triples endorsements.
• Must have a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record and safety record.
• Must have basic computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Must be able to understand and use web-based applications.
• Must be able to present information effectively and communicate clearly to individuals or groups.
