Job summary

Irby Construction Company, a Quanta Services subsidiary, seeks a Regional Safety Manager (Transmission) to lead safety performance across transmission construction operations in Georgia. You will partner with regional leaders to implement safety practices and ensure OSHA compliance.

You will conduct field visits, coach crews, review safety plans, and drive incident investigations, while supporting mobilization and storm response as needed. Travel ~80% within Georgia.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience in transmission safety leadership.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and utility-safety requirements.
• Professional safety credential (e.g., BCSP, COSS, COSM) or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional safety leadership for transmission projects and field operations.
• Coach field crews to uphold safety culture and predictable safety execution.
• Review safety plans and conduct incident investigations to determine root causes.
