Job summary

Herc Rentals in Indianapolis is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee safety programs for Region and Field personnel, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies. You will lead safety training, manage regulatory inspections, conduct incident investigations, and collaborate with leadership to promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate safety programs and develop corrective action plans.
• Deliver safety training to Herc Rentals employees and customers.
• Develop field personnel in safety program execution.
• Manage regulatory inspections and site visits with senior leadership.
• Conduct annual Location Safety Evaluations and follow up actions.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external authorities on audits.
• Support safety at location startups.
• Pursue ongoing professional development in safety practices.
