Job summary

United Utility Services, LLC is seeking a Regional Safety Director to oversee safety and health initiatives across a defined region. You will partner with operations leadership, mentor field teams, enforce regulatory compliance, and drive continuous safety improvement in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities include leading safety program deployment, supervising regional safety staff, managing incident analyses, and ensuring OSHA, DOT, and customer requirements are met while

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of Electrical Transmission, Distribution, and Substation construction experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a full-time safety leadership role (Supervisor, Manager, or Director level).
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with a represented workforce.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA standards, utility safety practices, and human performance principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety documentation systems.
• Ability to travel extensively throughout assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional implementation of safety programs and ensure alignment with company initiatives.
• Supervise safety representatives and develop the safety team.
• Conduct and oversee field safety observations, audits, and coaching.
• Lead incident analyses (IA) and ensure corrective actions are identified and tracked.
• Ensure regional operations comply with OSHA, DOT, and customer safety requirements.
• Represent safety performance to external customers and prepare safety reports.
• Monitor and report regional safety performance and enforce accountability.
