NRG Energy is seeking a Regional Safety Manager to support multiple power plants in the region. You will own safety programs, drive continuous improvement, and partner with plant leadership to maintain regulatory compliance while promoting a safety-over-production culture.

You will conduct audits, lead investigations, and mentor safety professionals, aiming to reduce incidents and strengthen the safety ecosystem across the organization. The role requires travel and hands-on field work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety, engineering, or related field required.
• 7+ years in industry/safety with at least 4 years in power/plant environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety management systems.

Responsabilités

• Own regional safety programs and drive zero-harm initiatives.
• Lead safety audits, risk assessments, and corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training and coaching across plants.
• Support incident investigations and action closure with robust RCA methods.
• Engage with plant leadership to sustain safety improvements.
