Job summary

Core Scientific seeks a Regional Safety Manager to implement and sustain health, safety, and environmental programs across multiple data center and construction sites. You will serve as the primary safety resource, ensuring OSHA compliance, contractor expectations, and risk controls.

You will collaborate with Operations, Construction, Security, HR, Facilities, and Contractors to foster a proactive safety culture, lead investigations, and drive continuous improvement in safety performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of EHS experience in data centers, critical infrastructure, or similar high-risk environments.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and occupational safety standards.
• Experience conducting incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action management.
• Experience developing and delivering safety training programs.
• Strong understanding of contractor safety management practices.
• Ability to interpret regulations and translate requirements into operational processes.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of safety programs across facilities.
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
• Develop site-specific safety plans, permits, and documentation.
• Partner with leadership and contractors to identify risks and drive corrective actions.
• Monitor safety metrics, incident trends, and audit findings for improvement.
• Lead investigations of injuries, near misses, and other incidents.
• Perform root cause analyses and track corrective actions to closure.
• Maintain incident records, regulatory reporting, and workers' comp support.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and local regulations.
• Deliver safety training, new hire orientations, and toolbox talks.
• Coach managers and employees on safe work practices and safety leadership.
• Oversee high-risk activities and permit-to-work processes.
• Support environmental programs including spill prevention and SDS management.
