Job summary

Crete United is seeking a Regional Safety Manager based in South Easton, MA to support active jobs across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York, and the DC area. You will develop and enforce safety programs, lead the safety culture, and partner with project teams to keep projects moving safely.

This role requires 5+ years in construction safety, OSHA expertise, and certifications. Travel across the region, strong field presence, and ability to work independently while communicating with

Qualifications

• 5+ years of safety leadership experience in commercial or industrial construction.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety best practices.
• Certifications such as OSHA 500, CHST, NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR preferred.
• Experience in both union and non-union environments is a plus.
• Must be based in the South Easton MA area.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve safety programs.
• Serve as the primary safety leader for the region.
• Conduct regular jobsite visits across the region, typically 2–3 days per week, with inspections and real-time coaching.
• Lead new-hire safety orientations, toolbox talks, and job-specific training.
• Partner with project managers and foremen to identify hazards and implement mitigation strategies.
• Lead incident reporting, investigations, and root-cause analysis with corrective actions.
• Track safety performance metrics using ISNetworld and client portals.
• Support client safety requirements, audits, and prequalification processes.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation including JHAs, permits, inspections, and regulatory records.
• Coach field leadership to maintain a zero-injury mindset without slowing productivity.
