Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Regional Safety Superintendent to lead safety programs across multiple sites. The role focuses on improving hazard abatement, risk management, and regulatory compliance while guiding field teams and sustaining safety culture.

The position requires extensive safety expertise, experience with OSHA regulations, and the ability to drive proactive initiatives, investigations, and training across the region.

Qualifications

• Ability to adapt to changing conditions, priorities, and requirements.
• Capable of analyzing safety data and implementing strategic improvements.
• Robust knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to interpret health and safety regulations.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with clients.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular job site inspections to identify and correct hazards.
• Lead Job Behavior Observations (JBOs) with focus on safety management and unsafe acts.
• Evaluate Foreperson knowledge of safety training responsibilities.
• Oversee the implementation of safety training programs and OSHA compliance.
• Lead accident, incident, and near‑miss investigations with proper documentation.
• Maintain records of safety audits, training sessions and incident reports.
• Participate in safety meetings and teleconferences.
• Assist with incident investigations including root-cause analysis.
• Ensure First Aid/CPR training and safety programs are implemented.
• Coordinate regional safety initiatives with management.
• Travel to various jobsites as needed.
