Job summary

D2B Groups LLC seeks a proactive Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives across projects and ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards. You will develop, implement, and monitor safety programs to reduce accidents and foster a culture of safety among employees.

Responsibilities include conducting audits, leading training, investigating incidents, and advising project teams on best practices. Requires CSP or equivalent certification and 50–70% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in safety management or a related field.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or relevant safety certification is preferred.
• Experience with NFPA 70E Electrical Training.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction and industrial environments.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and training skills.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct safety audits and risk assessments effectively.
• Proficient in safety management software and tools.
• Ability to travel 50-70% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive safety program, including policies, procedures, and training sessions.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections at job sites, identifying hazards and implementing corrective measures.
• Lead safety training sessions and workshops to educate employees on safety protocols and best practices.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, documenting findings and suggesting improvements to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations and standards.
• Work with the management team to set safety goals and evaluate safety performance metrics.
• Act as a safety consultant to project teams, providing expert advice on safety-related matters.
