Job summary

Asplundh Careers in Texas is seeking a Regional Safety Superintendent to lead safety programs, assess risks, and implement improvements across multiple sites.

You will conduct regular inspections, lead investigations, oversee training, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations while collaborating with regional teams to foster a proactive safety culture. Travel to regional job sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to adapt to changing conditions and priorities.
• Capability to analyze safety data and implement strategic improvements.
• Robust knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.
• Ability to interpret health and safety regulations.
• Ability to establish effective workgroups and foster strong team relationships with clients.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with an ability to create, communicate and deliver reports and/or presentations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular job site inspections to identify and correct safety hazards.
• Lead accident, incident, and near-miss investigations with proper documentation and reporting.
• Oversee the implementation of safety training programs and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Collaborate with regional management to develop and execute safety initiatives.
• Provide technical expertise and support to field teams ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of safety audits, training sessions, and incident reports.
• Participate in safety meetings and teleconferences to share insights and address concerns.
• Oversee data collection, input and distribution of safety reports and statistics.
• Monitor compliance with required documentation per policy.
