Job summary

U.S. Engineering Construction seeks a regional Safety Director for the Rocky Mountain Region in Westminster, CO.

This leadership role partners with corporate EHS to develop and implement safety programs, drive incident management, audits, and continuous improvement across projects and facilities. You will lead safety staff, ensure compliance with regulations, and foster a proactive safety culture through training, coaching, and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related field preferred.
• CSP/CHST or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum 10–15 years safety experience in construction, industrial, or mechanical systems industries.
• 5 years regional/multi-site leadership experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional safety programs and standards across the Rocky Mountain Region.
• Manage safety staff and provide direction to project leaders.
• Conduct audits/inspections and track corrective actions to closure.
• Oversee incident management, risk reduction, and crisis preparedness.
• Foster safety culture through training and coaching of operations teams.
