Job summary

REIC Rentals is seeking a Regional Safety Manager to lead HSE programs across multiple branches (10-15 locations) and customer sites in the Rockies and Central regions. You will drive policy development, training, and compliance with DOT/OSHA/EPA standards while coordinating with local leaders to improve safety culture across the region.

This hands-on role requires travel up to 50-60% and strong incident investigation, program management, and leadership skills to deliver measurable safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university; degree in industrial hygiene or occupational safety is a plus; or equivalent years of related experience and education.
• Willingness to travel 50-60% across Rockies and Central regions (SLC, ID, CO, MT, WY, TX, OK)
• 5+ years of HSE experience and OSHA 30 Certification
• 5+ years of incident investigation and root cause analysis experience
• 5+ years of injury management and return-to-work program experience
• Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, EPA and workers' compensation requirements
• Experience with program development, management and implementation

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the HSE Management System and DOT Programs for regional locations.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal health and safety regulations and client requirements.
• Lead site visits, safety meetings, and hazard assessments.
• Collaborate with local leadership to identify and control site hazards and risks.
• Deliver training on safety programs and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and implement emergency response plans, drills, and incident investigations.
• Monitor regional safety metrics and drive continuous safety culture improvements.
