Job summary

CAI is seeking a Regional Grant Coordinator to support contract and budget oversight, performance monitoring, and CMS reporting for Indiana’s rural health transformation program. The role is full-time, contract, and hybrid, with travel to various districts within Indiana.

The selected candidate will operate within the RHTP governance framework, ensuring data-driven, compliant regional strategies aligned with Indiana’s long-term rural health goals, collaborating with IDOH, CMS, and statewide TA

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, health administration, public policy, business administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in grant management, contract oversight, program administration, or related work.
• 3+ years of experience working with healthcare organizations, rural communities, or public health systems.
• 2+ years of experience understanding compliance, budgeting, and reporting for state or federal grants.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail and travel readiness within Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a regional contract manager for all organizations receiving RHTP funding.
• Monitor compliance with state and federal requirements, including expenditures, budgets, and documentation.
• Coordinate CMS reporting and regional data collection, performance tracking, and outcomes.
• Support regional coalitions to meet milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
• Act as a convener of Regional Committee meetings and liaison between IDOH and regional partners.
