Job summary

Fairway Management, Inc. is seeking Roaming Property Managers to travel daily across their region to support property operations, leasing, budget monitoring, and compliance with fair housing and affordable housing programs.

Responsibilities include collecting rent, processing applications, inspections, vendor oversight, and ensuring properties are market-ready and compliant. Travel expenses may be reimbursed where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in affordable housing property management.
• Experience with LIHTC program.
• Strong knowledge of Real Page Onesite.
• Strong knowledge of fair housing and local/state regulations.
• Proficient in auditing, training, and executing standards and goals.
• Strong competency in Microsoft Office suite and learning new software.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily to sites across their region to fill in for, support, and assist operations.
• Assist with leasing, compliance, maintenance, resident complaints, rent collection, and recertifications.
• Ensure Fair Housing and affordable housing regulations are adhered to.
• Collect and deposit rent within 24 hours of collection; notify residents of delinquent rent.
• Provide outstanding service to residents; resolve inquiries and requests promptly.
• Maintain and build applicant wait lists; conduct lease processes and re-certifications.
• Pass INSPIRE, State, and Government Agency inspections; ensure property standards.
• Ensure vacancies are market-ready and market units diligently until occupied.
• Inspect units and supervise vendor work; conduct daily property walks.
