Job summary

SSM Health is seeking an RN Clinical Educator in Madison, Wisconsin to assess learning needs, develop educational plans, and drive evidence-based nursing practice across Wisconsin ministries. The role is fully onsite with travel to other Wisconsin sites and no remote work.

Standard hours are Monday–Friday, with occasional after-hours as department needs dictate. Minimum Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of RN experience are required, along with BLS and state licenses.

Qualifications

• Flexibility in scheduling and priorities as needs change.
• Passion for education and simulation to improve clinical practice.
• Ability to adapt to new technology and workflows in a health system.
• Comfort creating clinical scenarios for simulation and drill training.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with nurse managers and staff to assess learning needs and competencies.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates educational plans/programs; uses tools to measure learning outcomes.
• Identifies and develops teaching tools and instructional materials.
• Maintains training records in Learning Management System or similar system.
• Applies evidence-based practice to nursing care and patient age-specific needs.
