Job summary

VCA Animal Hospitals seeks a Senior Regional Risk Manager to translate enterprise Value Protection strategy into regional action. You’ll lead a dispersed team, set priorities, and advise senior leaders across the West Coast and beyond. The role blends risk, investigations, safety and business performance to protect clients, pets and the business.

It requires deep technical risk expertise, strong business acumen, and proven leadership across multi-site operations. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years in multi-site risk management and leadership.
• Experience advising senior leaders across a large geography.
• Professional certifications preferred (CPP/CFE/ARM/CRM).

Responsibilities

• Lead a dispersed team of Regional Risk Managers and develop regional priorities.
• Analyze data to drive revenue integrity, loss reduction and performance.
• Manage investigations, crises and high-impact incidents with proper governance.
• Partner with Operations, Finance and Medical Operations to improve margins.
