Job summary

White Castle is seeking a Regional Field Technician to maintain restaurant technology and support essential operations. You will liaise between vendors and the Home Office, ensure continuous operations, and contribute to strategic planning for tech improvements across locations.

Qualifications

• College degree or certification or a minimum of 3-5 years of technical experience is required.
• College degree in Electronic, Computer Science, Engineering or comparable experience of a minimum of 3-5 years is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of in-depth knowledge of White Castle's Operations and Procedures is required.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Installation of LAN/CAT5 Networking, Cable Making & Wall Jack Termination, Audio Systems, PA Systems, Alarms, Circuit Boards is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of personnel or vendor management experience is required.
• Corrigo Enterprise Work Order software on PC and Smartphone APP experienced is preferred.
• Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills are required.
• Ability to climb ladders and scaffolds, lift up to 50 pounds, travel to different locations.

Responsibilities

• Must follow PCI compliance rules for credit card PIN pads and pass background checks.
• Install, repair, or replace equipment to maintain information flow and comply with standards.
• Develop Training Materials for management and castle staff.
• Provide 24-hour support for hardware and software in castles.
• Coordinate equipment orders for new building construction.
• Schedule data updates and changes with Castle Systems Administration.
• Test new Software and Hardware of POS Systems with Home Office.
