Job summary

White Castle is seeking a hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician to service company-operated properties, including restaurants and offices. You will perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and manage work orders while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental procedures.

The role requires a two-year technical degree or equivalent field experience, HVAC/R certification (I & II) or commitment to obtain it within six months, and willingness to be on-call on a 4-week

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent field experience in facility repair and services.
• EPA Certification types I & II for HVAC&R, or able to achieve certification in 6 months.
• Knowledge of building codes and OSHA standards; OSHA 10 hour class preferred.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, and kitchen equipment maintenance.
• Ability to manage on-site facilities and respond to after-hours calls on a 4-week rotation.

Responsibilities

• Day to day hands-on service of assigned buildings, grounds and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and maintain facilities to keep brand image.
• Process electronic work orders and communicate with internal customers and supervisors.
• Manage facilities invoices and purchases; ensure OSHA/EPA compliance.
• Assist Facilities Supervisor in training team members.
