Job summary

White Castle is seeking an IT Operations Specialist to sustain critical tech systems, including ERP processing, backups, and monitoring. You will troubleshoot across hardware, software, and networks while enhancing automation with PowerShell, Python, and Power Automate. The role requires collaboration with IT leaders and a strong attention to reliability and security.

The position is full-time, in-office, with a schedule Monday–Friday and competitive benefits. Starting pay is $26.12 per hour.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in IT operations, systems administration, or similar tech role.
• Associate degree in IT/CS or equivalent experience preferred.
• CompTIA A+ certification preferred.
• CompTIA Security+ certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support ERP processes, scheduled jobs, data integrations, and partner connections.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues across hardware, software, networks, and workflows.
• Use monitoring tools to detect issues and respond to alerts and incidents.
• Support incident response and root-cause analysis with IT teams and partners.
• Help develop automated workflows using Python, PowerShell, Bash, and Power Automate.
• Eliminate repetitive manual processes to improve IT operations reliability.
• Support Windows environment configuration, patching, and access controls.
• Execute and test enterprise backups to ensure recoverability.
• Assist security operations by initial investigation and escalation of incidents.
• Protect sensitive data and manage IT hardware and software assets lifecycle.
• Support telecommunications systems and equipment installation and maintenance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and SOPs.
• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to improve reliability and adopt new tech.
