Job summary

White Castle is seeking a Regional Field Technician to maintain restaurant technology and support essential business operations across locations. You will liaise with vendors and the Home Office, ensuring continuous operations of the restaurant infrastructure.

The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, PCI compliance familiarity, and experience with Corrigo and POS tech. Expect field duties, training development, and cross-location coordination.

Qualifications

• Requires 3–5 years of technical experience.
• Degree in Electronic, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Deep knowledge of White Castle operations and procedures.
• Experience in LAN/CAT5 networking, cable/Wall Jack termination, audio/PA/alarms, circuit boards.

Responsibilities

• Follow PCI compliance for credit card PIN pads and pass background checks.
• Install, repair, or replace equipment to maintain information flow and meet standards.
• Develop training materials and schedule training with regional management.
• Provide 24-hour hardware/software support for castles via Corrigo.
• Coordinate equipment orders and inventory for cost effectiveness.
• Test new software/hardware for POS systems with Home Office.
• Document work requests and communicate via work order system.
• Notify management of updates, changes, and outages.
• Create area spreadsheets and back up data for recovery.
