Job summary

KFC LA&C seeks a senior technology standards leader to codify and govern restaurant tech standards across 39 countries. Based in Fort Lauderdale with 40+% travel, you will partner with BMU Operations, Development and Technology teams to define features into standards and ensure global alignment.

The role focuses on POS, Back of House, Kitchen, Digital Routines and IoT, driving adoption and security alignment with GTRM. Strong English/Spanish required; Portuguese a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technology, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of above restaurant management experience in Operations or Technology function, preferably in the area of process, standards or execution.
• 10+ years of experience in a multi-franchise environment, with demonstrated experience in FZ engagement.
• Experience developing effective, pragmatic standards frameworks.
• Ability to bridge gaps of understanding between business and technical partners
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
• Spanish and strong command of English required. Portuguese a plus.

Responsibilities

• Codify and maintain technical standards across restaurant technology.
• Partner with the regional BMU Operations, Development and Technology teams to capture and codify existing features and functionality into standards, and identify opportunities for future standards.
• Partner with the global technology standards team to ensure regional needs are incorporated into global standards, and vice versa.
• Develop a framework of standards anchored to maturity levels, with the aim of ensuring FZ’s meet minimum standards but have a path to move up the maturity levels to be best-in-class.
• Partner with the GTRM team to ensure that restaurant technology standards are aligned with global security standards.
• Act as a subject matter expert for BMU and FZ’s in relation to the meaning and interpretation of standards.
• Constantly review and update standards to ensure that a culture of continuous improvement exists within the region.
