Novant Health in Coastal North Carolina is seeking a PNRT RN for the 7pm–7am night shift in the Emergency Department. The PNRT team rotates across multiple facilities to ensure continuous patient care.
Ideal candidates have an ADN (BSN preferred), current NC licensure, and experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, Critical Care, ED, or Women's health. NIH Stroke Scale certification upon hire is required.

PNRT RNs are experienced, proficient nurses within their specialty (medical/surgical, telemetry, critical/intermediate care, behavioral health, emergency or women's services). PNRT RN's demonstrate independence, rule consciousness, social boldness, and change readiness. They exhibit a strong commitment to professional nursing standards and inter-professional collaboration. These nurses are early adopters of Novant Health systems, technology, and workflows. They serve as reliable consultants and mentors to clinical nurses and share lessons across teams to advance the practice of nursing throughout Novant Health.
Professional Nursing Resource Team (PNRT) RNs are responsible for providing safe, continuous quality patient care in a variety of settings. The PNRT RN is part of a region-based nursing resource team that is assigned to varying units during their shift to ensure that patient care needs are met within the assigned facility. These RNs possess the skills, competency and qualifications, as well as a requirement to work in 5-6 locations within a defined region: Charlotte, Triad, or Coastal. This group shall be known as the Regional Resource Team - RN.
