Job summary

Novant Health's Matthews Medical Center in Matthews, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 7pm–7am full-time night shift in Medical/Surgical 3 South. You will lead patient care, collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team, and build individualized plans of care aligned with best practices and patient goals.

Required RN license in the state and a completed nursing program from an accredited school.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in appropriate state is required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• One year relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish authentic patient relationships and collaborate with physicians and the health care team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate an individualized plan of care.
• Lead nursing care and ensure alignment with current policies and procedures.
• Support patient and family through care decisions and transitions.

Education

4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.

What We're Looking For

• Education:
  • 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
• Experience:
  • One year relevant experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
