Job summary

The University of Mississippi Medical Center seeks a Regional Research Program Engagement Coordinator to plan and coordinate community engagement and educational initiatives across clinical research. This hybrid, grant-funded role acts as liaison between research teams and community partners to build trust and promote equitable participation.

You will develop partnerships, support participant recruitment, and prepare reports for leadership and funding agencies while delivering outreach

Qualifications

• Education: Degree (Associate’s or Bachelor’s) and one year of research, clinical, or event planning experience.
• Knowledge of community engagement and health education principles.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and implements community engagement and educational events for clinical research awareness.
• Develops and maintains partnerships with community organizations and healthcare providers.
• Represents the organization at events to educate audiences about clinical research.
• Collaborates with investigators to support participant recruitment and engagement strategies.
• Develops and distributes educational materials relating to clinical research and participation.
• Tracks outreach activities and prepares reports for leadership and funding agencies.
