Job summary

Music & Arts is seeking a Region-Based Instrument Repair Specialist to service customer-owned instruments and assist in maintaining store equipment. The role also involves guiding other Repair Techs within a geographic area and delivering training across stores.

The candidate will travel to multiple locations, provide certification, evaluate performance, support the repair team, and handle warranty work as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years of repair tech experience.
• 1 year of professional customer service experience.
• MS Office suite proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid state driver’s license and automotive insurance.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to upsell repair services and merchandise while ensuring a positive experience.
• Service customer-owned instruments with craftsmanship.
• Travel to stores within a region to provide certification and skills training.
• Provide New Hire and Grand Opening training.
• Evaluate store performance and recommend improvements.
• Report issues to Repair Support at GC Headquarters.
• Field support calls and emails to Support Techs in assigned areas.
• Maintain store-owned gear as requested.
• Complete warranty repair work as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
