Job summary

Casa of Hobart is seeking a Regional Registered Dietitian to lead clinical nutrition across multiple skilled nursing communities in Indiana. You will oversee therapeutic and regular menus, review menus and analyses, and provide regional leadership to dietary teams to ensure quality care.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, QAPI participation, training of dietary staff, and collaboration with interdisciplinary leaders to improve resident health and dining experiences.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Dietetics or Foods and Nutrition.
• Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD).
• Active membership and licensure in ADA, State Dietetic Association, and District Dietetic Association.
• Must maintain active state license.
• Minimum 2 years as a professional dietitian in long-term care with admin responsibility, or 1 year as a registered consulting dietitian.
• Must have a valid resident state driver's license.
• Must be able to travel to all CASA locations across Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee therapeutic and regular menus to ensure compliance with orders and standards.
• Review menus, recipes, and nutritional analyses to meet therapeutic needs.
• Provide clinical oversight for nutrition assessments, admissions, care planning, and food preferences.
• Provide regional leadership and support to Dietary Managers and departments.
• Participate in QAPI, Infection Prevention, Weight Management and interdisciplinary meetings.
• Develop and deliver orientation, education, and ongoing training for dietary staff.
