Ohio University is hiring a Regional Recruitment Manager (Southwest Ohio) to support undergraduate recruitment and enrollment goals in the Southwest Ohio region. The manager guides prospective students and families through the admissions process, represents the university at high-impact events, and evaluates applications as part of the admissions review. The role is based in the Cincinnati area and works closely with colleagues across Undergraduate Admissions.

Highlights

• Plan and carry out recruitment activities for assigned Southwest Ohio territories, including travel, outreach, and engagement initiatives.
• Guide prospective students and families through the admissions process using strong knowledge of academic programs, policies, and student services.
• Build and maintain relationships with students, families, school counselors, and community partners, and communicate Ohio University's strengths through clear, student-centered messaging.
• Evaluate applications and contribute to admission decisions, helping keep the review process consistent and student-focused.
• Use recruitment and enrollment data to refine outreach strategies and contribute to team initiatives within Undergraduate Admissions.
• Travel significantly within the assigned territory, including some overnights and weekends, plus trips to Athens for training and on-campus events.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field and five or more years of related professional experience, or equivalent education and experience; a master's degree is strongly preferred.
• Preferred background in college admissions, academic advising, student personnel, or secondary-school counseling or teaching, with data analysis experience and strong communication and public speaking skills.
• Preference for candidates living in the Cincinnati metro area, and the ability to travel independently and pass background checks and regular driving history audits.
• Pay Grade CA&P 16 with a target hiring range of $44,592 to $59,085, in a full-time remote position working Monday through Friday with some evening and weekend work.
